Les Misérables comes to Defiance!

(Defiance, Oh) Attention Defiance College students, faculty and staff: don’t forget to save the time and date of 7:00 p.m. on October 15th. Be sure to sure to write it in your planners and mark it on your Google calendars.
On this special day, the dress rehearsal for the musical performance Les Mis, starring many faces on campus, will be the only night where college students, faculty and staff get free admission if you bring your Defiance College ID. The musical is performed at the community auditorium in the Defiance Junior High School located at 629 Arabella St., right off of South Clinton St.
Les Misérables is a collaboration between DC Players and Fort Defiance Players. It is the story of a convict who was given grace during the French Revolution, turned his life around, and tried to show that grace to everyone else he met.
While watching, don’t forget to look for music director Andrew Schultz, pianist Candace Stoffel, stage manager and crew Beth Pienoski, Kelsea Burns and Luke Nicely, actors and actresses Brian Coon, Kevin Knauff, George Roth, Sam Walker, Ken Wetstein, Eric Connor, Amanda Fooce, Mandie Heil, Katrina Huffman, Lindsay Kasmer, Tiana Key and Kristain Woolace all of whom are members to the college.
Open night of the musical debuts on Thursday, October 16th through Saturday, October 18th at 8:00p.m. On Sunday, October 19th the musical starts at 2:00p.m. Cost of Admission is $14 for reserved, $12 for general admission, and $10 for students. For tickets, call 782-PLAY.
