Bring a Professor to a Game Night

This Wednesday, February 3, 2016, the Defiance College Women’s Basketball team has a game at home in the Weaner Center. The game will be played against Earlham College, and starting at 7:30 p.m. The team designated this game to not only be for their game but also an event for the professors of the college.

They would like to invite all the professors to the game to honor them for their teaching. The women’s players see the professor’s hard work and the love they have for their job and want to show the professor’s the hard work they put in for the game they love; of course other than by showing them their hard work in the classroom.

To show the coaches’ and players’ appreciation of the professors at Defiance College, there will be a recognition of the professors that attend the game. During the first full time out of the game, the announcer will ask the professors who are at the game to stand to acknowledge them and their teachings. The Women’s Basketball team hopes to see all the professors this Wednesday night to have them honored.
