If you like the thrill that October nights bring, this is for you! Defiance College students are invited to have some fun at Leaders Farms and Scream Acres on Friday, October 23rd, from 6:00 to 10:00 pm in Napoleon, Ohio. This is only about 18-22 minutes away from the college!
During daylight hours, Leaders Farms is open to the public, providing a fun, family oriented, authentic fall experience for all. Visitors can enjoy picking pumpkins, hayrides, and reminisce with fresh cider, donuts, and candy apples as well as travel through a massive corn maze that only the best adventurers can get through. Leaders Farms is open on Fridays from 6pm to 10pm; Saturdays from 2pm to 10pm; and Sundays from 2pm to 6pm.
Except when the night grows dark, Scream Acres comes out to play to send chills down your spine. Visitors will experience a night of terror with haunted cornfields, the PanDEMONium Project, characters hiding in the fog and so much more… unless you are too scared. Scream Acres is open on Fridays and Saturday nights, from dark (7pm) until 10pm. These haunted attractions are not recommended for children nor those with health conditions that are affected by flashing lights, sounds, machines that produce natural-like substances like fog, etc.
Rules for Scream Acres and PanDEMONium include but are not limited to:
- No alcohol
- Leave all metal objects and your cellphone in your vehicle
- Wear proper closed-toe shoes
- Wear proper clothing (dirt is a given)
- Do not touch the actors
- No foul language.
Be sure to present your student ID to gain admission for a scary, good time!
