Concerts close to DC

Want to have that ultimate college experience, but not sure what to do without breaking the bank? Here are some awesome ways to spend those refund checks, but grab some friends, because it is time for a mini road trip.

Throughout the rest of this semester there are various events happening in Fort Wayne and Toledo. Both cities are about 45 minutes from Defiance and have a variety of great bands coming this semester.

January 30^th Darius Rucker and Eli Young Band are coming to the Allen Memorial Municipal Coliseum in Fort Wayne. Tickets range from $33 to $200. Some of their popular country songs are “Wagon Wheel” and “Crazy Girl.”

In February, Fort Wayne and Toledo are hosting many concerts. If you are a Christian music lover, Casting Crowns is coming to the Allen Memorial Municipal Coliseum in Fort Wayne the 21^st of February, and the tickets are $23-$43. One of their popular songs is “Who Am I.”

Country fanatics can catch Brad Paisley and Chris Young in Fort Wayne on the 27^th of February or Zac Brown Band in Toledo on the 5^th of February.  Tickets for Brad Paisley range from $39 to $59 and Zac Brown Band ranges from $58 to $132.

On February 27^th, Third Day and Skillet are playing in Toledo with tickets being $46 to $85. In March, Fort Wayne is hosting the Christian Winter Jam Tour 2014 on the 20^th. Ticket prices have not yet been posted, but if you are interested put that on your calendar.

If you are into rap Toledo is having Three 6 Mafia perform at Main Street Bar and Grill on March 6 with tickets going for $26. If you are looking for a throwback concert, in April Boyz II Men is playing in Toledo on the 19^th. The tickets are selling for $132, so get them while they’re still there.
